CSMATE is a founding member with El Centro Student Services of the Math-Science-Tech Day tradition at CSU. In 1991, the late Dr. Sharon Bartels dreamed of a program that would bring local underserved children to CSU for a fun-filled day to show them that college is something worth shooting for. Over the last 16 years, the number of students attending has grown to ~500. This short video shows some of the hands-on experiential learning that we offer on that special day in mid-September.
