Experential Learning Studio Technology

CSMATE houses two state-of-the-art learning studios. Each contains 25 sciplex stations, white boards, fume hoods, sinks with DI water, light dimmers, wireless internet access, an LCD projector, a laser printer, and an overhead projector.

Each Sciplex is configured with the following: Dell Optiplex 620, Intel Pentium D, 2.8 GHz Dual Core Workstations with 80 GB hard drives, 1 GB Ram, a 17" LCD Recessed Monitor (Click here for an illustration), Storage Drawer, Light Box, and Gas/Air/Vacuum Hookups.

• Studio B322 is a Windows Vista lab with MS Office 2007
• Studio B302 is an Ubuntu Linux Lab with Open Office

*Note tech support for these two studios in not provided. We make every effort to ensure that the technology is up-to-date and functioning properly.

Available on request are: a set of 20 headphones, digital camera, miniDV camcorder with tripod, an InFocus PanelBook 525e (for TI calculator projection), a TV/VCR, and a 35 mm slide projector.
